Separated at Birth? Star Trek Lookalikes

While watching old episodes of Trek, I’ve always thought that Majel Barrett (No. 1, Nurse Christine Chapel) could have been a twin, or at least a sister to the great comic actress Eve Arden(Our Miss Brooks, Mildred Pierce, Grease). Both women had similar speech delivery and mannerisms.  Check out any of Ms. Arden’s movies and you’ll see what I mean. With this in mind, I gathered up a bunch of other celebrity lookalikes in the Star Trek Universe.  Let me know if you can think of any more!

#34 — “Amok Time”

At last, I create one of my favorite episodes in movie poster form! Some of you may wonder why I didn’t post Amok Time first in my posters for Season II; the reason is I create my posters in the order of episode production, not the order they were first aired.  I believe this gives the viewer a better idea of how the series developed over its three seasons.  This (and Journey to Babel) were the apex of the second season; after these the writing was a bit uneven and we all know what happened in Season III…  Note the Vulcan wind chime motif I used here.  Enjoy. 🙂

#33 “Who Mourns for Adonais?

Here’s my latest Trek poster– I felt kind of sorry for Apollo in the  end.  But I’m really happy with this poster!

#32 “Friday’s Child”

In the spirit of completely misleading 1960’s movie posters, it seemed logical to present Friday’s Child as a comedy! (This was totally inspired by the ridiculous REAL publicity picture of Kirk and Eleen!)   Two posters in two days, I guess I’m on a roll!  It also mildly references Three Men and a Baby, which as you know was directed by Mr. Nimoy in the 1980’s.

Trek Poster # 31: “Metamorphosis”

Hey Kids,

Been a while since I’ve done one of these!  This was a tricky episode to present, but I think I managed okay.   I hope to eventually finish the whole series — Enjoy! –  Therese

“Mr. Nimoy” A Poem by Therese Bohn (Exclusive)

Hey Kids,

I’m still working on my accounts from my visit last Saturday in NYC to see Vincent at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater at Symphony Space, but for now, I was so inspired by seeing Mr. Nimoy I had to write this little poem along with one of many photos I took.  Enjoy, and Mr. Nimoy, if you see this, Thanks again! — Therese Bohn June 18, 2013

Repost of the final, Final, FINAL version of “The 430”

Hey kids, I posted this back in March, but forgot to categorize it under “My Star Trek Posters, so here it is again… Key coming soon, Enjoy, Therese

THE ABSOLUTE FINAL 430

UPDATE — The Completed Version of “Let’s Hear It For the 430!”

Hey kids, here’s the final and complete version of the poster I put up here last week — now with even MORE crewmen! It seems that every time I thought it was safe to finish this, I found another crew member (some notable, like Mr. D’Amato from ‘That Which Survives”) that I couldn’t leave out! This is actually the third reboot of this poster, but I’m done now, really!   Be sure to click on the image to see the full size version, I don’t want you to miss a thing!

I’m working on a Key to identify all these people too, so stay tuned!
