For my 1 subscriber out there — Hi!   Sorry I haven’t posted much lately — kids start school tomorrow after the extended week due to the flooding in our area.  I spent much of today waiting for my Mother’s basement to finish being pumped so I could help clean it out –still lots of work to do, but thankfully, there were no fatalities in our county but a heck of a lot of clean up to do.

And of course, today is the 10th Anniversary of 9/11, and in helping with the flood, it reminded me of just how important it is for us to have a community of help and sharing.   One gesture goes such a long way, and every offer of help we can give to serve our fellow man not only makes us humble in the eyes of God, but honors the heroes and the victims of 9/11.  If you know someone who needs help, never hesitate to offer a helping hand, or comfort, or food. It makes you feel good too.

Thanks for your patience — I have a couple of new Star Trek movie-style posters in the making (Mudd’s Women and  Charlie X) and hope to get them up soon, but of course, life happens when you’re making other plans.
