Always good to start the week with a song, don’t you think?

My Weekly Spock: Preview of Rare Slides
Hey All,
I recently acquired a bunch of rare slides from a dealer on eBay which came from the Celebrity Photo Agency in CA. Naturally I bought three pages of rarely seen Nimoy images to share here!
Pardon the quality of the image — this is just a quick scan of one of the slides, and when I get these converted to prints, it will look much sharper and brighter. This was taken of Leonard at a book signing at Brentanos on October 30th of 1995. More to come in time! Enjoy!
FArF: “Sorry Guy’s, Time to Run!” by Worgue.
How the week flies by! Here’s today’s Fan Art — the very clever Sorry Guy’s, Time to Run! by artist Worgue. I like that he included Yeoman Rand along wit Chekov, even though they didn’t work together on TOS. And of course, Spock is Kirk’s first priority! At the time Worgue had created this, he hadn’t seen much of the original series yet; here’s hoping he’ll make more! 🙂
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Wideo Wednesday: Planetary Post “Boldly Go!” A Trek Musical!
Actor Robert Picardo, (whom I love) who played the Emergency Holographic Doctor on Star Trek Voyager, presented his second monthly newsletter for the blog Planetary Society. In addition to the regular real-space news of the month, Picardo presents a new scientist-produced Star Trek musical “Boldly Go!”. (Picardo will cameo in it!) I wouldn’t call the music Rogers & Hammerstein worthy, but if looks like fun. Enjoy!
My Weekly Spock: Seventies Man
I always love seeing Nimoy in his 1970’s mode! Mister Cool! Here’s a few from personal appearances. Of course, the media still wouldn’t let Spock go at this point, as the caption to the last picture dictates “Spock, Where are your ears?” Oy!
FArFri: Women of Star Trek by Jason Potratz
Sorry I’m a little late this week — for this week’s Fan Art, here’s three lovely representations of Nurse Chapel, Lt. Uhura, and Yeoman Rand by artist Jason Potratz. Nice to see Yeoman Rand, who isn’t often seen in Fan Art, and I also like Uhura’s expression; as if she’s really about to give someone what for!
Wideo Wednesday” Leonard Nimoy in Bonanza Under Attack (1995)
On Monday I featured photos of Leonard in Catlow and Bonanza Under Attack (1995) I found the video of the Bonanza movie! So glad he got to do another western at this stage in his career :-). Enjoy!
