My Weekly Spock: Mr. Mosaic

I had featured a picture similar to this one back in 2013, but here’s a different picture from the same shoot that I’ve never seen!   Someday I’ll find that mosaic if it still exists and get a selfie! Anyone knows if it still exists?

And a reminder, if you’re looking for a fun tee shirt or housewares item, check out my Tee Public page HERE.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans, and I wish a peaceful blessed day to all the world. Please remember the victims of the awful fires in California, and be thankful for the brave firefighters who are risking their lives to contain the fire and save as many lives as possible.

Today we take time to reflect on the blessings in our lives, and how grateful we are for them.  Despite hard times, we do have so much to be thankful for, and the turkey is a bonus!

Bless you all as we head into this blessed Holiday season, and don’t sweat the small stuff.  Reflect on the little blessings and the love we have.  love, Therese 🙂

My Weekly Spock: Friendship

This week in America is Thanksgiving, and I’m sure Leonard was thankful for all the friendships in his life. Yeah, I know that his relationship with Shatner soured at the end, but you cannot deny that they were very close.  He loved his all his Star Trek friends, especially  De Kelley, and I’m happy that he found a family in  his cast-mates. ❤  Be sure to check the funny captioned photo below where Leonard doesn’t quite help De do the Vulcan salute!

My Weekly Spock: Veteran Trekkers

As yesterday was Veteran’s Day (and today it was observed), it’s a good time to remember our Star Trek friends who served their country.  For Leonard, Gene, and DeForest, it was the United States. And for James Doohan, it was for Canada.

James was also a hero of D-Day, after killing two German snipers,  having been shot at 6 times; 4 in the leg, one in   the right hand, which cost him his middle finger, and one in the chest, but his life was saved by the silver cigarette case in his breast pocket, a gift from his brother.  (for once, it was lucky he was a smoker).

Thank you our Star Trek brothers in arms for your dedicated service during WWII and early 50’s.   We are honored and forever thankful. ❤

Capt Gene Roddenberry US Army Air Corps (Served 1941-1945)

Lieutenant James Doohan 14th Field Artillery Regiment of the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division.

DeForest Kelley, Army Air Forces-WW2-First Motion Picture Unit 1943-46

Sergeant Leonard Nimoy, Army Reserves 1950s

I Voted!

My fellow American Trekkies,

Darn right I voted today! It is 7:05 p.m. EST as I write this – Just under 2 hours left at the polls here at 9:00 p.m.  The rest of the time zones follow with the west coast being last.

If you haven’t voted, be sure you do before the polls close!  Thank you and may Democracy Live Long and Prosper! ❤

My Weekly Spock – Pensive Leonard.

Let’s start the week with some thoughtful Leonard, shall we?  Boy is he missed.  ❤  Would love to hear his thoughts on our world today.
