My Weekly Spock – Triple Dose — 1969, 1973

Hey Kids, Sorry it’s been a while since I posted my Weekly Spock — so here’s a trio!  I love all of these and you can read about the first picture here

Another pose from the “Go!’ session. “Go!” was a half-hour show for kids shown after Saturday morning cartoons, and it highlighted adventurous occupations. Leonard’s was about The Coast Guard, and I remember watching it, not really caring about the speed boats but just watching it for Leonard! (My 12 year old heart leapt for joy!)

George the Vampire…

Hey Kids,

For you newbies, I sometimes deviate from Trek, especially if I get a new idea for something about The Beatles.   George was my favorite, and I was inspired to make this little poster after seeing a gif of George eating an apple.  Someone commented ‘Dem Fangs!’, for indeed, George had pronounced incisors!  He’d have made a great vampire, whom I’d take over sparkly Twilight people any day! (I borrowed Frank Langella’s body and costume from 1979’s Dracula). George the Vampire

FArFri — Funny Scenes by Berende

Hey Kids,

What better way to start the year off than with a few laughs?  These two comics by artist Berende are right on the mark!  I love these.   First “Random Scenes” then  the trials of being trapped in Janice Lester’s body!  Berende, more please!

Thanks for your patronage and comments!  Trekker Scrapbook now has over 1000 subscribers and ‘Likes’ from Facebook combined!   Here’s hoping we make new friends this year, and a special Happy New Year to Bill Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Nichelle Nichols, George Takei, Walter Koenig, and Grace Lee Whitney! God Bless you in all you do, and keep LLAP-ing!   love, Therese

#63 The Empath

Here’s my latest — finally had a few minutes to finish this!  The Empath. I used Kirk’s tortured form for best dramatic impact.  I always thought the Vians were just a rip-off of the Talosians, but Gem is still a Gem!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

A bit late in the day, (been out visiting for most of it!) But I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas day, and I wish you all the best for a Happy and Restful  New Year!  Thanks for following my silly little blog, and I’ll have more fun in store for you coming in 2015!

Love, Blessings, and Live Long and Prosper, Therese xo

FArFri: “Unsure” A Young, Pensive Spock from The Cage, by artist karracaz

I love this cool, youthful image of Spock from “The Cage” by artist karracaz  Just think, he played Spock for the first time 50 years ago!   Aren’t we lucky?

My Weekly Spock: At the Premiere of ST:TMP

This week marks the 35th Anniversary of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. (and let the franchise begin!)  Here’s a rare shot of Leonard and Bill at the premiere that was held in (interestingly enough) Washington D.C.!  The tuxes really reflect their personalities; Disco Bill is in his ruffles while Suave Leonard in in his traditional, fine tailored threads.  Marcy and Sandy look sweet too!

True, the movie may have not been the best, but I’m glad they had a fun night!

FArF: The Stylish World of Gary Anderson

For this weeks fan art, I found some more wonderful work by Gary Anderson (a.k.a. darkwing75) on DeviantArt.   Gary has created dozens of these stylish images of sci-fi and fantasy characters in his signature fashion plate style. (I’m guessing there’s a template he uses).  Here’s his take on some of the best Star Trek ladies from Earth and Elsewhere.  I especially like Isis from Assignment: Earth.   As I costume-fanatic, all I can say is Mr. Anderson, more please!
