My Weekly Spock: He Loves to Laugh

I always love to see pictures of Leonard laughing –it’s a deep, powerful laugh, and always genuine! You can hear it now…

FArF: “Trinity. Trust Us. We’re Professionals” by Shazam26

For this week’s Fan Art, this is one crazy blend of 15 TOS episodes!  It’s ‘Trinity-Trust Us, We’re Professionals” by artist Shazam26. Can you name all 15 episodes? (Although I don’t recall Kirk ever having a six-pack!)

Today’s Toon: Evil Spock Facial Fur Fails…

Hey Kids,

Of course the producers of Mirror,Mirror took a while to decide the best evil look for Spock… They eventually decided on a modified Heisenburg; after all, he is the evil!  😉 My first Toon with my new computer, enjoy, Therese 🙂

My Weekly Spock: Rare pics from 1972 “Oliver” (as Fagin)

I was delighted to come across these rare photos of Leonard from 1972 when he starred as Fagin in the (Milwaukee) Melody Top Theater stage production of “Oliver”.  Here he’s seen on and off stage, in rehearsal, and in some especially rare color photos, in and out of character with fellow actor Clyde Miller, who appears just a little star-struck! (Can’t blame him there!) I wish I could have seen this (or any of Nimoy’s stage works), looks like a blast.

Yay, I’m back!

Hey Kids,

I had some technical difficulties earlier this week when my sweet, old 9 1/2 year old computer crashed, burned, and finally bit the dust! 😦 .   I was a bit concerned that I wouldn’t be able to log onto this or many of my other sites too easily, but I’m happy to say I’m back baby! My new computer came through FedEx yesterday, and my darling husband has been restoring all my programs and such for the past 36 hours! (Bless Him!) Now I’m catching up an a week of e-mails and making sure all the i’s are dotted as we make sure all my programs are restored. Of course, first we had to dismantle the automatic installation of the AWFUL Windows 8 that came with the computerand I’m happy  to have my dependable  Windows 7 program back in place.  I still have a ways to go, but hope to be back to normal by next week.

It’s funny how one never realizes how much you use something once it unusable, but I’m so happy to have it back and I’ll be getting more stuff out to you soon! Thanks for your patience! -Therese   🙂

My Weekly Spock – Triple Dose — 1969, 1973

Hey Kids, Sorry it’s been a while since I posted my Weekly Spock — so here’s a trio!  I love all of these and you can read about the first picture here

Another pose from the “Go!’ session. “Go!” was a half-hour show for kids shown after Saturday morning cartoons, and it highlighted adventurous occupations. Leonard’s was about The Coast Guard, and I remember watching it, not really caring about the speed boats but just watching it for Leonard! (My 12 year old heart leapt for joy!)

George the Vampire…

Hey Kids,

For you newbies, I sometimes deviate from Trek, especially if I get a new idea for something about The Beatles.   George was my favorite, and I was inspired to make this little poster after seeing a gif of George eating an apple.  Someone commented ‘Dem Fangs!’, for indeed, George had pronounced incisors!  He’d have made a great vampire, whom I’d take over sparkly Twilight people any day! (I borrowed Frank Langella’s body and costume from 1979’s Dracula). George the Vampire

FArFri — Funny Scenes by Berende

Hey Kids,

What better way to start the year off than with a few laughs?  These two comics by artist Berende are right on the mark!  I love these.   First “Random Scenes” then  the trials of being trapped in Janice Lester’s body!  Berende, more please!
