I love finding TOS Publicity stills, and sometimes wonder what was going through the actors’ heads — Here’s some fun:

Help Adam Nimoy Make “For the Love of Spock”

Posted on June 6, 2015 | 1 comment

Adam Nimoy, (Leonard’s Son) is working hard to make his documentary “For the Love of Spock” a reality by 2016, which is the 50th anniversary of Star Trek!  However, it takes gobs of money, especially in regards to using any images related to the Original Series, and unfortunately, even being the SON of Mr. Spock doesn’t get you any favors!  Adam needs to raise  $600,000 by JULY 1st to achieve this goal.  He’s begun Kickstarter promotion to raise the needed funds.  Please help Adam achieve the dream of both him and his wonderful late father.  If everyone who loved Leonard Nimoy even pitched in a dollar, we’d have this paid off in a day!

Please be sure to watch this promotional video, and donate what you can.  This will be a wonderful documentary, and a fine tribute to the Vulcan and marvelous Human Being we all love so dearly!   Thanks, and GOOD LUCK ADAM!  ❤    (I donated!)

Mystery Woman — Is this really Sandy Nimoy?

Posted on March 18, 2015 | 6 comments

Going through my lovely new Nimoy Tribute magazine from my sister, I came across this amazing picture that I’ve never seen before:

Untitled-1

The Caption says it’s Sandy Nimoy, Leonard’s first wife, but to me it just doesn’t look like her! The face and hair seem wrong – especially since we’re more accustomed to seeing her look like this:

Untitled-2

She also isn’t wearing a wedding ring.  I’ve seen other pictures of Sandy with Leonard on the set (taken later)   But this just seems off!  Winston, you know everything Nimoy, is this really Sandy?

UPDATE:   Winston just confirmed my suspicion that the lady in the first picture is NOT Sandy Nimoy (I really didn’t think so)– So who the heck is she?  It’s not his ‘Girl Friday’ Teresa, it ain’t Phyllis Diller — Who is it? (and I wish I were she!)

Yay, I’m back!

Posted on January 9, 2015 | 1 comment

Hey Kids,

I had some technical difficulties earlier this week when my sweet, old 9 1/2 year old computer crashed, burned, and finally bit the dust! 😦 .   I was a bit concerned that I wouldn’t be able to log onto this or many of my other sites too easily, but I’m happy to say I’m back baby! My new computer came through FedEx yesterday, and my darling husband has been restoring all my programs and such for the past 36 hours! (Bless Him!) Now I’m catching up an a week of e-mails and making sure all the i’s are dotted as we make sure all my programs are restored. Of course, first we had to dismantle the automatic installation of the AWFUL Windows 8 that came with the computer,  and I’m happy  to have my dependable  Windows 7 program back in place.  I still have a ways to go, but hope to be back to normal by next week.

It’s funny how one never realizes how much you use something once it unusable, but I’m so happy to have it back and I’ll be getting more stuff out to you soon! Thanks for your patience! -Therese   🙂

My Weekly Spock: Skyping with Leonard.

Posted on December 1, 2014 | 2 comments

Sadly, but understandably,  Mr. Nimoy doesn’t do conventions in person anymore, but isn’t it nice to know that the Trek technology has caught up with reality and now he Skypes!   Who wouldn’t want to Skype with Grandpa Leonard? Here’s some candids of him at recent events, including a shot of him enjoying his doppelganger (and trekkerscrapbook follower) Paul Spock Vegas Forest! (Hey Paul, want to do an interview? 🙂 )
