When I was out today I came across this funny bumper sticker at a diner. I wonder if the driver noticed the Star Trek stickers on my car? 🙂

Hi Everyone, Sorry I’ve been away a while, but I’ll be posting more soon! In the meantime, here’s a fantastic preview for the new CBS All Access series Star Trek Picard! Coming in January 2020!!! This got me a little emotional, in a good way! Enjoy!
Another great candid I bought of Leonard on eBay; this time backstage at Oliver (1972), signing autographs for fans. I would have loved to see him as Fagin in that show! Sometimes when I watch the 1968 Oscar winning movie of the musical, I can imagine how Nimoy might have sung and acted it, But Ron Moody’s performance in the movie is unforgettable!
On another note, sorry I haven’t posted too much lately. We just had a whopper of a snowstorm here! (a bit over a foot). Hope you’re all comfy and well where you are! I’ll post again later this week! Thanks!

“There’s ya problem right there!” Spock gets horizontal with the Enterprise’s guts. A rare publicity still, although odd that those markers are on the rug in front of him! I think they were markers for where the actors to stand?

Here’s a WONDERFUL interview with Leonard on Charlie Rose from 1995! This’ll make you smile! ❤
This past Monday (4/10) was
National Siblings Day, so what better time to remember wee Leonard and his big brother Melvin?
Not to mention those two men who loved him like a brother; Bill Shatner and DeForest Kelley ❤

In reviewing the old Star Trek animated series it was clear that a lot of the best art was in the creative and colorful backgrounds made for the planets. Characters silhouetted against the backdrops made an even a stronger impact. The Original Series had lovely painted backdrops too, but in TAS, the imaginations soared, creating scenes the original couldn’t afford. A shame there were only 22 episodes. I especially like the re-creation of the Guardian of Forever in Yesteryear, and the planet Vulcan. There’s a lovely image of Uhura resting by a lake in Once Upon a Planet. And the curvy architecture of the palace in The Lorelei Signal reflects its female inhabitants. Which are your favorites?
