A very Happy (if slightly late) Birthday Wish for the marvelous Dorothy C. Fontana (March 25) who penned many of the original Trek episodes that deepened Spock’s history and culture, and made him the beloved Vulcan he became!  (Amok Time, Journey to Babel),  You can read all about wonderful and inspiring D.C Fontana here.  (Thanks Corylea for the reminder!)

Happy 86th Birthday Bill Shatner!

Hey Captain! Our Captain hits 86 today!  Happy Birthday Bill! God bless you with another beautiful year and many many more!

BTW, Guess who I got my picture taken with last June at Star Trek: Mission New York?  — I was wearing my Dr. Miranda Jones costume and had Bill hold a faux red rose with me, just like in the episode!  (Silly me!) He looks perfectly flummoxed here, but it was totally worth it!

I’ll write more about my convention experiences from last year soon; very busy lately with my two jobs and also rehearsing for local production of Jesus Christ Superstar!

Hi Kids,

As I write this we are at 2+ feet of snow outside my door!  (I live in NYS)  This is a whopper of a storm, so naturally I thought I should feature Spock and company in a snowy backdrop today!  Stay warm my fellow storm-bearers!

Poor Sulu. Apparently in The Enemy Within, The Enterprise forgot it had shuttlecrafts!

Spock kisses the howling wind in All Our Yesterdays.

You know it’s cold when your extremities turn white!
