For this weeks fix, here’s Leonard in one of his other favorite professions: Directing! Seen here directing Star Trek III, Star Trek IVThree Men and a Baby and Funny About Love (with Gene Wilder).  The lesson in all this? Always do what you love!

My Weekly Spock – Nimoy the Director

  1. Such a talented man! Interesting how some super-talented people seem to be talented in multiple areas. (Viggo Mortensen is another one.)

I know he’s too old these days to direct the reboot movies, and I know he’s more interested in photography nowadays, anyway, but I wish we’d had Mr. Nimoy’s vision of Star Trek for the reboot movies, and not Abrams’ Kirk-the-jerk and emo Spock.
