Before summer slips away, here’s some wonderful sidewalk chalk art created by artist Erik Greenawalt “The Chalking Dad” and his daughter. Wonderful likeness, and I even like the unfinished version with just the eyes that are so penetrating! But like summer, these joys do not last, so maybe we should get some chalk and make our own before it’s over! Congrats Erik! I’m going to be taking some time off for a little while. Hours are building up at work, but more importantly, I have a lot of projects to do at home, as well as needing to get sufficient rest and exercise to get myself in better shape. I need to lose @ 12 lbs. by the end of September, and my health is paramount. I’m down four already! 😀 It’s a start.
I don’t get as much traffic in the summer anyway, and that’s the way it should be! I urge you all to get out there and have some fun! Throw a Frisbee, play badminton, bike, hike, swim, and do all the glorious things this season blesses is with. It’s almost 1/2 over!
If you’re missing your Trek fix there’s over 900 posts on this site! Dig around!
And if you look to the left column here, you’ll see a countdown for when I come back!
I wish you a refreshing and restful summer, and I’ll see you in (late) September! Love to all and LLAP
And please don’t forget Celeste’s cancer fund — Wouldn’t it be wonderful if she reached her $50K goal by the time I come back??? Please help it become a reality; you can donate here. ❤
See you in September! – Therese 🙂
Okay, so it’s not Mr. Spock surfing, but it is Leonard with his son Adam in the early 70’s catching some waves! Wishing you warm weather — spring will come, really!
