#71 — Whom Gods Destroy

Coming down the wire on the last 9 TOS movie-style posters! Hard to believe! I’ll miss this series when I’m done, but where TOS is concerned, I’m sure I’ll always come up with something else!

Here’s Whom Gods Destroy, yet another  Captain-gone-mad episode and a semi-rehash of Dagger of the MindBut Steve Inhat as Garth was deliciously loony, and Yvonne DeCarlo’s a lovely limber dancer!

#70 ‘Let That Be Your Last Battlefield’

Unfortunately, too many cooks can’t save these cookies from burning. A sweet and mildly humorous take on a sad episode.  And modern chefs dress like Starfleet officers–Who Knew?

(Nine posters left to go!)

#69 That Which Survives

Losira sure had a bum deal — when you look past the silliness of how she’d appear and disappear, it’s really a tragic story.  I made the title appear to be trying to lift itself up.   But at least beauty did survive.

#68 ‘Wink of an Eye’

Here’s my latest!  The Scalosians certainly were pests, weren’t they?  I cheated here and used the Spock image from another episode (who can guess?) but it worked so well here! Note that I also slightly blurred the Scalosians — but not poor Compton!  Enjoy! -Therese

Yeoman Pride!

Something for the underdogs of Starfleet — The Yeomans!*   In memory of Grace Lee Whitney ❤

(*And before the nit-pickers complain, I know that Miss Piper from The Menagerie was never addressed as Yeoman, and that Wong from Court Martial is actually an Ensign, but they both look great here, have very similar jobs and deserve credit where credit is due! – !)

#67 Plato’s Stepchildren

Plato’s Stepchildren– The look on Philana’s face perfectly captures the their sliminess!  But of course I always watched this one because Chapel finally got to kiss Spock! (Does that make me as repulsive as Philana?  😉   I always loved Michael Dunn’s performance here too, wonderful actor.

#66 The Day of the Dove

I admit, growing up this wasn’t one of my favorite episodes, but watching it now, it has a delicious darkness about it.  Michael Ansara’s Kang is a sympathetic Klingon, and ever so cool.   I still think the end is kind of goofy, but in reality, wouldn’t it be nice if we could laugh away all our war and destruction?   Here’s to the pursuit of Peace.

#65 “For The World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky”

Hey Kids,   Here’s my latest poster! (And it just turned out to be green enough for St. Patrick’s Day! Enjoy.

#64 ‘The Tholian Web’

Here’s my latest poster! I wonder if the cast enjoyed filming an episode that was 90% Kirk-Free?  Good drama here 🙂

#63 The Empath

Here’s my latest — finally had a few minutes to finish this!  The Empath. I used Kirk’s tortured form for best dramatic impact.  I always thought the Vians were just a rip-off of the Talosians, but Gem is still a Gem!
