Hey Kids,
Well, it’s been almost A YEAR since my last post, and by some amazing magic, my WordPress Dashboard is back and I am able to post again!
You may be wondering why I haven’t posted in so long, and honestly, it’s been a rotten year. With all the hell that has happened in my beloved United States in these last 365 days, I have been less enthusiastic about writing on this blog. It’s a hard time.
Aside from the hells of national and international news, I also had a personal loss. Our darling cat, Buddy, ‘crossed the rainbow bridge’ last July. Buddy had belonged to by dear brother, John, who had passed away in August of 2021 from Covid. Not only was Buddy a sweet reminder of John, but also the sweetest, silliest, cuddly kitty I’ve ever had. It warms my heart to think of them in heaven together. They will always be in my heart. The good news is that after @ 6 months, we will be getting a new kitty soon, and I can’t wait!
For now the world goes on. At this point, I have 430 subscribers to this blog, and I am honored by all of you! I like to think of you as my little Enterprise crew, since we’re at the same number. My followers used to be in the 600’s, but when I wrote one somewhat political post, I lost 200 subscribers straight off the bat. C’est la Vie.
For now, I’m happy to be alive, healthy, and semi-retired. I’ll be 65 in April. Here I am with Buddy in 2021. ❤

ahh I’m glad to hear from you 🙂 I always loved reading your posts.
And man do I feel you on our great nation of the US of A. It’s been a rough year and I hope your weathering through it as best as you can. My own family are immigrants so it’s been rough but Star Trek has been one of my lil grasps of sanity ❤️.
I’m sorry to hear about Buddy, may he watch over your new kitty from the stars– I’m sure they lived the best days of their lives with you 🙂

I am very sorry for your loss. I have lost 2 of my cats over the past couple of years. Only 1 left. Would like to get her a companion, but let’s says she has attitude problems.
It is going to be an exciting year with Star Trek celebrating it’s 60th anniversary. Yes I watched the original series the first timed it was aired.

Most of the ones I’ve been blessed with through out my life have been from “The Cat Delivery System” -also known as strays! But this time I have my eye on one at a local shelter and I hope to see her tomorrow! I’ll keep you updated!
Yes, Happy Early 60th to Trek! I hope to visit the Ticonderoga Original Set Tour again this year — it’s been a while. Did you see the Star Trek float at the Rose Bowl Parade? Delightful! Too bad it rained!
