Here’s the next in my movie gallery series – A Face in the Crowd (1957) starring Andy Griffith, Patricia O’Neil, and Walter Matthau.  An excellent drama, proving that reality TV and dirty politics are nothing new.   Griffith appears to be an aw-shucks corn pone, but he’s a real gritty, rotten power hungry villain!
