My Weekly Spock: This Rare Color Picture Got Me Amok!

Hi Everyone!   Occasionally I’ve seen candid, on-set photos from TOS – but this week I came across one that totally blew me away! I have NEVER seen before!   Enjoy this very rare COLOR photo of Arlene Martel and Leonard Nimoy on the set of “Amok Time”!!!  Leonard is totally in character as he contemplates the script.  Arlene casually peruses her script while keeping her costume clean wrapped in a blue robe!  I love this!  I hope more are unearthed! 13754238_10154396290742431_740500958687866314_n

  1. I was vaguely wondering if he was trying to memorise lines, but everyone else is going for the “deep in the part” theory and, in view of the episode, they’re probably right! It’s an incredible shot. And Arlene looks completely different from T’Pring, which shows how well she acted.

  2. I also wondered if she had her lap covered because her skirt rode up too much when she sat down and she was preserving her modesty!

  3. That was a very good episode, you found out a bite about Spock’s home land and of Vulcan why of how they chose to be paired off for life, also it is the first int of his family states on Vulcan.

  4. That might be the best image I’ve seen that captures what many have said about Nimoy remaining so in character off camera!

  6. Hi, I just came across this photo in a magazine, and I didn’t buy it … now I can’t remember which magazine it was! Does anyone remember?
