My beautiful Mother passed away peacefully this morning (May 30) in her sleep. Although I am heartbroken, I am thankful that she is out of the horrible pain caused by her fall on Monday. Her joy and smile will be with me always, and she helped me to become the best Mom and human being I can be. My Mom has earned a beautiful eternity with Dad, my sister Maggie,  Mom’s sister Eileen, her mother, Mary, and her dear friends Flo and Rita. Thank you all for your love and prayers.Mom liked my blog a lot.   I won’t be posting here for a while.  Love, Tess.

  1. So sad to hear about your dear mothers passing. God fits the back for the burden. I lost my mom 6 years ago; know how your feeling. God bless you and yours.

  2. Thank you both for your kind comments. No matter how old one gets, losing one’s Mom is one of the hardest challenges anyone faces. I was so blessed to have my Mom for 52 years. My thoughts & blessings to your families too. 🙂

  3. So sorry to hear of your loss. May you have peace of heart at this difficult time. Take time to mourn and hold your Mother’s memory in your heart. God bless.

    • Thank you, Mary. So busy now with getting everything in order for the funeral tomorrow, but it’s good therapy. She’s in my heart always.

  4. I’m 44, and my mom was 83 when she passed away on Friday, February 15th. I feel like offering practical advice, but it’s a bit soon for that, I guess, and who am I to you anyway? 🙂
I wish you as easy a time as possible.
I put up a “tribute” to my mom on tumblr:
My best to you and yours.

    • Thank you, John, you are very kind. My sympathy on your loss, losing a Mom is one of the the hardest things anyone has to face, I appreciate your comment, Thanks and bless you.

    • Thank You. Today was her funeral, and it was truly a celebration of her life. I am so thankful and blessed to have had such a wonderful Mom.
