Like I posted in the previous comment, Spock’s right hand is backward. I think I posted his left hand but the right hand is the one.

Yes Spock is wearing the rank of Lt Cmdr. , Dr. McCoy’s ranks and if he were just casually placing his hands behind his back they would be “palms out’
