One: That would be spelled “Dreck”; with “Drek,” you run the risk of that far less common variant making you look to most people like you, you know, kan’t spel; no editor in the magazine world would use it. Two: “Blecch” is far more comical, for several reasons, including it’s a funnier sound, and funnier looking. Clearly Jerry’s last name isn’t Seinfeld, as he would know comedy. So they didn’t “miss it”; they rejected it.
A somewhat funnier title would have been:
STAR DREK…..Im surprised they
missed it…..
