   I wonder if this was his beloved Molly. Among the articles I have read since his death, there was mention of a special relationship with a cocker spaniel, Molly.

   I think it must be. We never heard of Molly in her lifetime, but there was a long gap between the shaggy thing and Max and he’d never have been dog less for that long.

   And I’ve never seen this one, just the nose to nose one that’s often shown.

   My first — and most beloved — dog was a cocker spaniel. I’m glad to share a love of dogs with Mr. Nimoy.
